Cabin 5 Community Care

Nourishing Our Communities

At Cabin 5 Granola, we take great pride in our commitment to the community. We believe that every child should have access to wholesome and nutritious meals, and that's why, for every bag of granola we sell, we donate a meal size portion back to the youth in our community.

We understand the importance of nourishing young minds and bodies, and this initiative is our way of making a real impact. By providing essential nutrition to children in need, we're not only supporting their health but also enhancing their educational opportunities and overall well-being.

Our dedication to this cause is at the heart of what we do, and we're honoured to play a role in building a brighter future for the next generation. Cabin 5 Granola is more than just a brand; it's a symbol of our commitment to making a positive difference in our community.

Programs Cabin 5 has had the honour of supporting:

Food for Thought - provides a free breakfast for 650+ school-aged children a day across 25+ schools. Nutritious breakfast items are made available each morning before classes begin. While this program is geared toward students facing food insecurity, any student is welcome to sit with their friends and share a meal in a safe and inclusive environment.

The Bridge Youth and Family Services - Focuses on community and families by working preventatively with new parents and their infants, counselling families who are struggling with their role, and working on behalf of the Ministry of Children and Family Development with young people in our community who are the most marginalized, street entrenched and disenfranchised.

Their other arm of service includes recovery and addictions programs. The Bridge is the largest provider of substance use services for the Interior Health Authority.

Canadian Mental Health Association Kelowna - CMHA Kelowna is a multi-service organization helping thousands of individuals, youth and families every year. They create opportunities and connections for people of all ages to understand and nurture their mental health and well-being. Through the creation of innovative programs and supports, they help people develop skills and resilience so they can live their best lives possible.

BGC Okanagan - During out-of-school hours in small and large cities, and rural and Indigenous communities, the BGC trained staff and volunteers provide programs and services that help young people realize positive outcomes in self-expression, academics, healthy living, physical activity, job readiness, mental wellness, social development, leadership, and more.
