Community Event Days
At CBN5, community is at the heart of everything we do. From the very beginning, we've been committed to not only creating delicious, adventure-inspired granola but also making a positive impact on the lives of those around us. Whether it's giving back to local schools, joining hands with like-minded organizations, or coming together to address food security, we believe in building connections that matter. Each step of our journey is fueled by a passion for supporting our community, and we're so grateful for the opportunity to work together with others toward shared goals.
Here are some of the incredible events and initiatives we’ve been lucky to be part of:
Holiday Giving with Kelowna Chevrolet & Dawson Gray
Over the holiday season, we partnered with Kelowna Chevrolet and country singer Dawson Gray to spread a little extra warmth and cheer in our community. Together, we brought food, clothing, and hygiene products to our local youth shelter and The Bridge, ensuring that those in need felt supported during the holidays.
ProducKIDvity Backpack Initiative
We had the opportunity to partner with ProducKIDvity, working alongside kids to fill backpacks with essential supplies for those experiencing homelessness in our community. This initiative wasn’t just about packing bags—it was about fostering empathy, compassion, and a deeper understanding of how small acts of kindness can create a meaningful impact. Watching the kids take pride in their efforts and learn the power of giving back was a reminder that even the smallest hands can make a big difference.
In partnership with Kelowna Chevrolet we held a Farm Day
In an incredible partnership with Kelowna Chevrolet, Cabin 5 was thrilled to bring our community together for Farm Day! This initiative was all about supporting our local Okanagan farmers and making fresh produce accessible to those in need. We worked closely with three amazing farms, sourcing over 4,000 pounds of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to create abundant baskets filled with fresh Okanagan harvest, and CNB5 Granola. These baskets were then distributed to seven local not-for-profit organizations, helping to nourish and uplift the community. It was a day of connection, gratitude, and giving back—true to our CBN5 values.
In partnership with Motherlove Kombucha we held a Mini Makers Market
At Cabin 5, we believe in nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs and supporting young, creative minds in our community. In partnership with Motherlove, we hosted a Mini Makers Market—a unique event designed to inspire young entrepreneurs to explore the world of business and showcase their creations. This market provided a platform for youth to gain real-life experience in selling their products, connecting with customers, and cultivating confidence in their abilities. Seeing their passion and excitement reinforced our commitment to empowering young people and fostering a vibrant community of makers.
Apple Trade Food Drive with NRG Run Club and Kelowna Fruit Stand
In collaboration with the NRG Run Club and Kelowna Fruit Stand, Cabin 5 helped organize a unique food drive that made the most of an abundant apple season! With Kelowna Fruit Stand providing a surplus of fresh, local apples, we offered them to the NRG Run Club community in exchange for non-perishable food donations. This innovative trade was a huge success, filling our hands with apples and our hearts with the generosity of our community. The collected non-perishable goods went straight to the shelves of local not-for-profit organizations, helping to support those in need while celebrating the spirit of resourcefulness and community care.
